This is something different. If you have the right decor, you can add this to a room and guaranteed it will be noticed. You will get questions from everyone...is it a real teapot?...how old is it?...who painted it?..................
The artist was pretty good too, as the eagle is great and the designs on the top are spaced proper and matched to size. There are designs on the back side and top as well. I would add a vintage looking shade in brown or beige. Goodwill has loads of lamp shades so you can finish it for a very low price. I didnt put a shade on as the buyer really needs to choose the shade for their room. The lamp was made a long long time ago based on the type of cord and plug.
There are signs of age and of course, I did not clean it beyond wiping it clean of the years of dust. The marks and scuffs are all a part of it now.
Any boutique, or art store on Las Olas would charge $100s. MAKE AN OFFER (I bought it to resell)
