I just relocated to Fort Lauderdale yesterday because of my job. I came all the way from Seattle, WA and I am looking for a sublet or temporary room mate situation (6 months, but if it works out well it could be longer!), and I really would like to stick within my price range. (I am trying to get my business up & running...saving money is a priority)!! I am a 37 year old female with a 4 year old pit bull who thinks he's a lap dog. I've had him since he was 3 months old and he's the most lovable beast, EVER! He's healthy, licensed and a great companion! I work a lot!! Between starting my own photography business and the job "working for the man" I am very busy! I am not looking for a co-op, or community type household. Interaction is fine, hanging out talkin' about the day on occasion is okay too, but I would prefer to not have "stalker" house mates, or a needy one either. Also, my biggest issue with room/house mates is the taking of my food, I don't mind sharing IF I OFFER! I just moved to Florida and thought I wanted to live in Naples. However, now that I am here I think I am more suited to Fort Lauderdale and am looking for a place to share. I am a responsible person with A1 credit and financially able to never be late on the rent. I lived in Los Angeles for quite a few years and was a successful entrepreneur. I want to keep my expenses to a minimum and am looking for something under $500 a month total..
