Seeks Outstanding General Manager!
Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct and track salon operating activities necessary to meet or exceed established budgeted sales, expenses, and profit and productivity goals.
• Maintain and constantly review client service standards.
• Team player with the ability to educate and develop employees and accomplish daily sales goals.
• Ensure salon cleanliness and maintenance.
• Discipline and guide all members of staff to create a happy working atmosphere for the benefit of both staff and clients.
• Encourage and motivate all staff to maximum potential, both technically and professionally for their individual benefit and future growth of the company.
• Communicate through all staff levels e.g. Stylists, Apprentices: company policies and procedures, staff changes, company’s future plans, management’s satisfaction and dissatisfaction
• Feedback through correct channels of staff’s concerns, ensuring that these are given a satisfactory answer.
• Together with Managing Director(s) plan future staff requirements to maintain staff levels and fluctuations in trade throughout the year (includes recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations)
• Ensure smooth running of reception area in particular with overall responsibility for cash and paperwork procedures. To ensure where there is no receptionist that proper coverage is maintained and paperwork procedures are adhered to.
• Work with Managing Director(s) on ordering stock, including maintaining stock levels, following the guidelines on controlling and accounting for stock, ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately.
• Complete and check weekly control sheet, with particular attention to accuracy of stylists’ revenue.
