We are currently seeking an experienced Full Time System Administrator who, among other duties, will work with our managed services provider and other vendors to manage our application hosting infrastructure and disaster recover processes and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience managing a Windows 2003/2008 Server, SQL Server 2005/2008, and based web or application hosting service.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor servers and application performance
* Perform proactive maintenance on servers
* Handle help desk issues * connectivity, computer problems, setup, etc.
* Trouble shoots problems with system performance
* Setup new applications and configure IIS, including management of domains and SSL certificates.
* Assist development team in testing new system configurations and applications.
* Ability to resolve issues including: Problem Recognition, Research, Isolation, Resolution, And Follow-Up
* Assist in website development
* Purchase, installation, and maintenance of SSL certificates and domain names.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years experience managing a secure Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 environment with multiple servers
* 3-5 years experience managing Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
* MCSE, MCSA or MCP level certification.
* Extensive knowledge and experience with MS IIS.
* Knowledge of layer 3 and layer 4 network devices and ability to diagnose and isolate network problems
* Experience with Cisco firewall and load balancer products is a strong plus
