grassfire.org is front organization for a well oiled Republican PR machine (Shirley & Banister Public Affairs (SBPA), a highly connected and long-established public relations firm). It is also the parent company of ResistNet, which accoding to the SPLC is one of the cheerleaders of the new, ascending violent militia movement in the country , lead by groups like the Oath Keepers. ResistNet is also a conspiracy fueled group that espouses violence and racism. How to Kill Discussion Fast

•Start with personal insults. No sense in addressing the content of another person's thought when you can just go straight to character assassination and get the job done quicker and easier.

•Be threatening and cuss if you can. People who cuss and misspell words are rilly skarey. Make sure you come off as one mean futhermucker, because everybody respects that. He who dies with the most toys wins. Plus, nobody can see you on the internet, so you're fairly safe on this score. Warning: Use this strategy in a bar and you may get different results.

•Read hubs you know you will disagree with just so that you can be rude. Believe it or not, there are pussies in this world who read what gives them pleasure and what they enjoy. Screw those idiots. Seek out opinions you hate and then hate, hate, hate them in the comments section. It's your duty as an American to be aggressive and unpleasant.

•Don't write any hubs of your own, but do leave multiple essay length comments on other people's hubs. Present yourself as the ultimate authority on the topic at hand and cite tons of partisan source material as if you were writing a graduate school thesis. Go on and on and on and on and when the original writer gets sick of arguing with you, accuse that person of being a coward.

•Don't use your real name or real photo. If you are going to devote yourself to shutting people up, for God's sake don't reveal who you really are. Somebody might come punch you in the mouth or something. Hiding behind an avatar isn't cowardly, it's just good common sense.

•Constantly talk about how patriotic and Godly you are. You could be using the flag as a dog bed and sleeping with your own niece but nobody here knows that. Make sure you present yourself as far superior to your foes in the patriotism and godliness departments. When challenged on either score, go back to the personal insult thing.

•Repeat what other people say or write in an intentionally distorted way. So, for instance, if someone says we could use a little rain, the summer has been dry, make sure you respond with something like, "So you hate sunshine do you? I'm sick of you freakin' sunshine hating commies!"

•Bring up death camps and harm to our children whenever possible. Both of these topics freak people out and totally derail all intelligent, focused conversation, so try to work them into your insults constantly. In the weather example cited earlier, you might say, "Well I'm sure sure you'll get lots of rain in the Death Camp your precious Obamarama has waiting for you, but at least that will keep your godless ideas away from our children!" (BTW it doesn't matter if you actually have any children. We all know you probably don't get much opportunity in that regard.)

•Make up weird words out of the name 'Obama'. Nobama. Obamapajama. Ombamicle. Obamarama. Obama-bo-bama. You get my drift. This impresses others with how creative and mature you are and makes understanding the actual issues at hand unnecessary.

•Never actually read anything. I know some of you are thinking, "Wow, I just don't know if I want to actually bother reading the ungodly unpatriotic hubs of degenerate communists and socialists, " but the good news is, you don't have to! You can perfect the new American rhetorical style without even knowing HOW TO READ!
