Medical Billing, Collections and insurance Claim Processing.
Looking for a multitask professional with experience in medical billing to work client accounts for a national medical billing company. Ideal candidate will have at least two years minimum experience in the medical billing field. Must have a working knowledge of CPT and ICD9 coding, insurance billing, working outstanding insurance A/R including working denials and appealing claims. Familiarity with EOB's, Medicare/Medicaid & other various insurance programs. Knowledge of NueMD or Kareo billing software a plus. Ability to speak Spanish also plus, but not required.
This is Full time position. Hours are Mon-Fri must be flexable 9-7 8 hr/day
This position requires that you:
-Are a team player
-Complete insurance data for insurance claims
-Some managing experience
-Work well independently & are a self-starter
-Pay close attention to detail & have very good accuracy in data entry
-Process, research and correct accounts
-Verify diagnosis and authorization codes
-Are able to establish & maintain good relationships with client's accounts
-Review and adjust account balances
-Interpret explanation of benefits(EOBs)
-Post payments and adjustments in billing databases
-Create, organize, correct, update and maintains accounts on data spreadsheets using medical billing software
-Track status and confirm receipt of claims
-Have an ability to multi-task and solve problems
-Have knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding
-Have experience and knowledge of payment posting and adjustments
-Have good customer service skills
-Have good office skills and get along with others
