The Warehouse Branch Manager will be working in a not-for-profit organization at Feeding South Florida. The Warehouse Branch Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse branch facility and developing community awareness and participation within the service area of their branch. The Warehouse Branch Manager is also responsible for providing back-up support for the positions of Agency Relations Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator at the warehouse branch facility.
Skills:
• Three years of experience in general management and direct supervision.
• Ability to relate to people in an open, friendly, accepting manner; showing sincere interest in others and their concerns.
• Ability to use warehouse equipment and stand for long periods of time without assistance.
• Skills in operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, coolers, freezers, electronic scales, etc.
• Knowledge of Safe Food Handling Procedures – Certification certificate required.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory control, health and safety, record keeping, and safety regulations.
• Computer Skils: Word, Excel, Outlook
