A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy may allow you to reinstate past due accounts and debts such as: auto loan/leases, repossessions, foreclosures, mortgages, taxes, and other related debts by arranging to make up back payments over a long period of time, usually from 3 to 5 years. You may also be able to strip second mortgages. It also may allow you to keep all your property and protect your assets while reorganizing your debts oven an extended period of time.

Stop creditors from harassing you
Stop or eliminate lawsuits, garnishments, repossessions, judgments, or taxes
