Reporting to both the President and Treasurer postions, the Accountant will perfom all
day to day accounting activities and financial reporting.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and 1-2 years experience.
Working knowledge of G/L accounting and transaction processes required for a privately held service company.
Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks financial management software.
Detail Orientation and an interest in assuming broad responsibility for the accounting function.

Aptitude for accuracy and timelines.
Excellent planning and communication skills. Ability to work independently.

Major Responsibilities:

Perform and/or supervise all day to day accounting activities for the company including
o Preparing disbursement checks and maintain a check register.
o Recording tenant lease receivable balances
o Recording receipts from clients
o Reports on disposition of tenant security deposits and related tenant correspondence.
o Calculating monthly management bonuses and commission override reports.

Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting monthly, weekly and daily analysis.

Maintain a comprehensive Accounting record of all receipts, disbursements and property transactions.

Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Treasurer or President.
