The Resolv 65a active monitors sound full and balanced with an uncompromised transparent midrange, leaving room to accurately mix vocals, snare hits and reverb trails. The Resolv 65a features 6.5" copolymer butyl surround Woofer, a 1" titanium diaphragm, neodymium magnet with ferro-fluid cooled tweeter and gold plated connectors all mounted in a ported tuned cabinet.
In addition, the Resolv 65a utilizes a midrange contour control. In the nominal position, the Resolv monitors are clinically accurate, but by dialing in the control, you can tailor the frequency response from hi-fi to an aggressive midrange, emulating some of the classic near field monitors.

in the CL-2 series wire. The box uses the thickest gauge metal we offer. Its other features include raised box edges to protect the connectors, an integral handle, all metal connectors (with locking tabs on the female XLRs), dual returns on the box (1/4" and XLR male), and heavy-duty wire mesh strain relief on both the box and fan ends. Don't Be Square, Curves Ahead
The Gen 2 Rockit studio monitor looks different, so it can sound better, and in a wider "sweet spot". Traditional rectangular speakers suffer from diffraction as sounds leaving the edge of the cabinet are reflected back into the original sound field, and at different time intervals. This phase distortion creates a "narrow" or "boxy" sound. The Generation 2 Rokit series eliminates this issue with radically engineered curved surfaces, so diffraction is virtually eliminated. Simply put, you'll get better sound in a wider area.
Let's Be Up Front
Other monitors have ports on the back of the cabinet. These rear-firing ports tend to create bass coupling with walls and corners amplifying low frequency information which will color your mix. The KRK Generation 2 Rokit studio monitor's design includes front-firing ports, which are just the right shape and taper to reduce port turbulence.
