Miami magazine is looking for talented, assiduous and reliable student journalists to join its editorial department. Duties will include fact checking, image gathering and providing administrative assistance to the editorial staff. Talented writers will have opportunities to write brief stories for publication.
Candidates should be juniors, seniors or graduate students in accredited journalism programs, and should be able to commit to a set-in-stone schedule of 10-15 hours per week. Serious candidates only! (Read: If you have no editorial writing samples and/or zero history with your school’s newspaper or magazine, please do not bother applying.) Familiarity with AP style a big plus.
