The International Association for Asset Recovery is the worldwide membership organization for private and public sector professionals who specialize in tracking down and recovering money and property and restoring it to its rightful owners. Our members’ investigative activities are wide in scope, and include fraud, money laundering, and bankruptcy, corporate due diligence, civil disputes, public corruption and law enforcement. IAAR provides them with news and analysis, job tools, training and networking opportunities so they can advance their careers and raise the overall level of effectiveness in the asset recovery field.
Web content specialist
We are seeking a multi-talented writer/journalist to take charge of developing, producing, soliciting, posting and maintaining rich and compelling content for our websites. Our growth strategy assigns primary importance to those sites—not only as marketing venues, where members learn about various conferences and instructional seminars IAAR offers, but as themselves principal benefits of belonging to the association, thanks to the valuable and, when possible, exclusive content they offer.
The sites will offer a combination of aggregation digest and links, interactive elements intended to build and strengthen the IAAR community, original feature articles produced in-house, how-to articles and analyses solicited from subject-matter experts, training tips, and news and updates about IAAR services and offerings.
The successful candidate will be based in Miami and will be a key member of the association team. We are looking for someone with top-notch editorial skills, who works independently yet is a team-player, has proficient web skills, has experience with content management systems, and, most important, relishes the challenge of seeking out and listening to our members, devising informational offerings that serve their needs, and building a valuable new organization through skillful use of state-of-the-art communication technologies.
Educational and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree minimum. At least 5 years relevant experience in journalism, web operations, strategic communications or some combination of all.
