Electrical/Mechanical Technician needed ASAP!
This position is for a transit bus manufacturer and it requires someone with strong electrical and mechanical skills as well as excellent customer service skills. Must understand electrical systems, read schematics and be a strong troubleshooter. Experience with Cummins ideal but not required, however you must have PLC experience. You will test, interpret and make decisions on what problems need to be fixed. These are new buses that are in the acceptance phase. There will be initial training, but after that you must be able to work without direct supervision and possess excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing directly with the customer.
Ideal experience is to have worked on any of the following: buses, trains, autos, trucks, military vehicles, aircraft, agricultural or industrial equipment.
No established work shift. Must be flexible to work any hours...some days, some nights, some weekends...the work is performed in collaberation with the customer.
Salary commensurate with skills and ability.
