Deliver quality Job Corps outreach and admissions services and support within an assigned geographical area in compliance with U. S. Department of Labor (DOL), Jackson Pierce Public Affairs, Inc. (JPPA), and other applicable regulations, policies, requirements, and mandates. „Ï
Providing all applicants with accurate information about Job Corps, including (as a minimum) the process for eligibility determination, selection, and assignment of eligible applicants for enrollment; privacy rights and equal employment opportunity information, reasonable accommodation information, and that enrollment in Job Corps is voluntary for each individual
Assessing and verifying applicant eligibility and other factors for student selection and enrollment. Notifications must be made to all applicants of their eligibility determination
Conducting follow-up and retention/commitment activities with enrolled students once they arrive on center and throughout their center experience, especially during the first 90 days
You will be required to make quotas regarding placement of candidates
**must be comfortable networking in the community to encourage student enrollement
**must be comfortable forming new relationships with potential students, school and community officials.
**great at public speaking
**prior experience in this field or closely related field is higly preferred
