POSITION IS FULL TIME WITH A COMPLETE BENEFIT PACKAGE
Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Human Services or related field. Bilingual required.
• Perform intakes on probation, pretrial diversion and community service clients. Supervise open caseload and represent Advocate at court proceedings involving clients.
• Instruct client on what they need to do to satisfy their requirements. Provide them with the proper paperwork and assist in filling out.
• See clients for monthly reports and remind them of outstanding conditions.
• Pick up mail daily.
• Maintain file for each client including daily reviews, sending ITR’s, complete posting slips and updates.
• File affidavits, successful terminations and revoke memos with Court
• Request warrants on probation violators and request quashing of bench warrants.
• Perform data entry function for special conditions on client’s case.
• Send letters to State Probation officers as necessary.
• Screen clients for priors.
• Refer clients to Social Services department as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and all associated court personnel.
• Maintain adequate Successful Termination and Fee Collection rates.
• Reduce Revocation rates.
