PART TIME CORPORATE LAWYER
Location: Miami, Florida
Fortna, a total supply chain solution provider offering supply chain consulting, systems selection and implementation, distribution center design, and materials handling systems integration with offices throughout the United States and Latin America has an exciting opportunity for a part time Corporate Lawyer in the Miami, Florida area.
We are looking for a mature, business-minded individual who will be very strong in negotiating contracts with our clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other parties. Since we have an expanding presence in Latin America, we are seeking someone who is familiar with doing business in Latin American countries and is fluent in the language and cultures of those countries.
The required hours will vary based upon internal and external client needs, after-hours phone calls and conference calls but we anticipate it to be in the range of 10 – 20 hours per week with the possibility of more hours depending upon the volume of work. Note that the position will also manage our relationship with our external legal counsel. Additionally, since we have operations and clients in the US and in Latin America, the candidate must be prepared to travel on occasion as the need arises.
