Growing advertising agency in Fort Lauderdale is currently looking for freelance graphic design and copy writing assistant for our rapidly growing business. This opportunity would at first be part-time with the possibility of being full time rather quickly if we find that your skill sets will work well in other areas that are outside of this initial offering.
The position will assist the Creative and Marketing Directors in the design and development of web sites as well as print advertising. Qualified candidates must be proficient in Photoshop design and preferably have some knowledge of, or be capable of learning CSS and Content Management Systems - specifically Joomla and Wordpress. This position will also write content for websites and must have good copy writing skills and will be directed to write relevant consent using specific key words and phrases in order to optimize search engine rankings.

Mandatory skills include:
• Ability to write Search Engine Friendly Marketing Copy
• Ability to edit metadata on websites and to edit copy and photos
• Ability to use products like Joomla/Wordpress to add/edit copy
• Ability to update products/descriptions/prices on ecommerce websites
• Perform other general/occasional office work
Other computer skills include working knowledge of Word, Excel (spreadsheets if they have a working knowledge you shouldn’t need to explain that it’s spreadsheets) and email. Skills such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Graphic Design, HTML, Dreamweaver and/or taking photographs will be helpful. Successful candidate must be able to multitask, have reliable transportation, good written and communication skills, as well as possess the ability to work in a team environment. College degree preferred (business/marketing, graphic design, web design, etc.), but not mandatory.
