SpareZ, Inc., South Florida's leading commercial recreation business, is seeking an experienced Emcee.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- interact with event customers
- continue the Lightning Strikes(r) atmosphere, family oriented fun and excitement
- be available to kick off weekly Lightning Strikes(r) sessions
- kick off special events reserved outside of/or during Lightning Strikes(r) times
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- minimum of 2 years experience as Emcee
- understanding and knowledge of proper use/maintenance of Emcee/entertainment equipment, including OTS and fixtures
- knowledge of general computer functions
- understanding of Light Jockey/Video Jockey programming a plus
- ability to work independently in an entertainment environment
- ability to 'move the crowd' and provide interaction with customers
- ability to work with children and adults alike for all ages birthdays and celebrations
- commitment to excellent customer service
- open to new ideas and implementations from SpareZ management and entertainment companies
This position will spend 100% of the time standing, walking throughout the establishment, and communicating to customers.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This position offers approximately 33 work hours per week (including set up time) under a set schedule as follows:
Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday and Saturday 9:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Wednesday 9:45 PM - 1:00 AM
New Year's Eve
Alternate Sundays, and Special Edition events (approximately 10 times per year)
