o You are enthusiastic about pets and their people. A love of pets is critical!
o You have been a pet parent and are knowledgeable about the care and handling of dogs and cats.
o You possess outstanding customer service and communication skills. You take pride in developing strong relationships with customers.
o You are capable of learning about a large number of products and educating customers about product features and benefits.
o You are interested in learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities as you gain experience.
o You are comfortable using computers, including programs such as Word and Excel.
o You have a flexible schedule and are available to work evenings, weekends and the holiday season.
Sales Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
o Serving customers by helping them to select products that meet their needs and educating them about products and pet care
o Ringing up sales using the point of sale computer system
The job requires self-motivation, attention to detail, and a positive, energetic attitude. In return you will get a fun, rewarding work environment and the pleasure of interacting with pets and their people every day!
