Foot Solutions of Plantation is the leading provider of therapeutic and comfort footwear in South Florida. We provide an array of services geared to promoting foot health through footwear and arch supports also know as orthotics. We treat and serve an array of patients and customers that are either referred from community health care providers as well as those just seeking relief from common foot pain. Our objective is to analyze each client's feet, determine the source of their discomfort, review their lifestyle as it relates to their feet and footwear, and make recommendations for shoes and orthotics. We are also a Medicare Part B DME approved provider for the dispensing of specialized footwear and arch supports for diabetics. Position Responsibilities and Duties
* Greet each prospective client
* Evaluate their feet and gain a history of their foot problems
* Measure feet
* Discuss treatment options and recommend the appropriate option for an array of common but nagging foot problems such as heel pain, arch pain, bunions, etc.
* Fit client feet with appropriate footwear based upon lifestyle and needs
* Recommend add-on products such as socks, creams, splints, etc.
* Assist in the orthotics lab
* Assist with other various sales and clerical duties
Candidate requirements
* A strong background in sales or customer service
* Great interpersonal skills and outgoing personality
* Professional appearance
* Good computer skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Health care background and knowledge of foot anatomy and biomechanics a plus
