There is 1 bedroom open in our 5 bedroom, newly renovated home starting July 1st. There is
a lot of character to this house with awesome wood floors, the 1920's feel with an open floor plan and large windows for spectacular light,
a recently remodeled basement, and one of the two full bathrooms is also brand new. We have a new two car garage with tons of storage space
for bikes, skis, snowboards, grills or other items you may want to bring and store. It's the only two car garage on the block and we rotate
the parking spaces and garage door openers between roommates. There is also lots of free street parking right outside the front door.
Included in rent are water, sewer, garbage, recycling, heat, gas, electricity and free onsite laundry (extra capacity units, very nice).
Tenants are only responsible for whatever cable and internet is decided upon (usually $20 per person per month). Our home is located on the
top part of Loras Blvd near University Ave and within walking distance of University of Dubuque, biking distance of Loras and Clark
College, and within a mile or two of mall shopping, grocery stores, and all the best restaurants. Last summer our home was renovated with
new siding, new gutters, a brand new roof, as well as a very large porch. There is also a patio area in the back for grilling and hanging
out.
These rooms are a steal for their location, beauty, and all that's included! And they go quick!
If you are (or you have a friend/family
member who is) handy and able to fix things (clogged sink, power goes out, leaky faucet) my landlord will give you some nice perks during
the year for helping out!
We currently have a mix of boy and girl tenants in their mid 20's that work or are in their later years of
college. Super laid back group and everyone gets along great... a drama free house for sure! Students, working professionals, IBM employees
all welcome to join but I hope to find someone in their 20's who is compatible with my other roommates. We are not a party house but do
enjoy going out... keep the mess and clutter to the bars and that way it's quiet if someone needs to get up early or wants to relax for a
night :)
